Partner Agreement

This agreement governs your rights and responsibilities as a RydoShare partner — someone who publishes routes and carries requesters, parcels, or both.

Effective date: 17 June 2026 · Version 1.0

Key points: You are an independent individual — not an employee of RydoShare. You set your own schedule, choose which requests to accept, and keep the fare minus a transparent platform commission paid instantly to your wallet.

1. Who is a partner?

A partner is an individual who has completed RydoShare's KYC verification process and publishes routes on the Platform. Partners may carry requesters in their vehicle, carry parcels in their vehicle, or carry parcels on public transport or on foot (parcel-only mode, no vehicle required).

2. Independent contractor status

You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, or franchise of RydoShare. Nothing in this agreement creates an employment relationship. You are solely responsible for your taxes, insurance, vehicle maintenance, and compliance with applicable laws.

3. Eligibility requirements

3.1 All partners

  • Minimum age 18 years.
  • Valid Aadhaar and PAN for identity verification.
  • A bank account for payouts.
  • Minimum trust score of 3.0 (new accounts start verified).

3.2 Vehicle partners (rides and parcel delivery)

  • Valid driving licence for the vehicle category.
  • Registered and roadworthy vehicle with valid insurance and PUC.
  • Vehicle photos uploaded to the app.

3.3 Parcel-only partners (no vehicle)

No vehicle is required. You may carry parcels on your public transport commute or walking route. Standard KYC verification applies.

4. Publishing routes

You publish your planned route, travel time window, vehicle capacity, and the type of requests you will accept. You are not obligated to publish any route or accept any request. Once you accept a request, you are committing to fulfil it on the agreed terms.

5. Fares and commission

5.1 How fares are set

Requesters name a price for their request. You may accept the fare as-is, decline, or counter-offer a different amount. A fare is confirmed only when both parties agree.

5.2 Platform commission

RydoShare deducts a 15% platform commission from the confirmed fare. The remaining 85% is credited to your in-app wallet immediately upon trip completion. The commission covers matching infrastructure, payment processing, insurance contributions, and customer support.

5.3 No hidden deductions

The only deduction is the 15% commission. No subscription fees, no listing fees, no peak-hour levies.

6. Payouts

Your wallet balance is withdrawable to your registered bank account at any time, subject to a minimum withdrawal of ₹50. Withdrawals are processed within 1 business day. You are responsible for declaring payout income for tax purposes.

7. Multiple requesters on one route

Depending on your vehicle capacity, you may carry more than one requester at a time, or serve requesters sequentially on non-overlapping route segments. The app manages seat availability and prevents double-booking. Each requester's fare is calculated and confirmed independently.

8. Partner obligations

  • Arrive at the agreed pick-up point within the confirmed time window.
  • Follow the matched route without significant unplanned deviations.
  • Complete the OTP handover with the requester at pick-up and drop.
  • Maintain a safe, clean vehicle and drive within legal speed limits.
  • Not carry prohibited items (see the Terms of Service, Section 8).
  • Treat requesters with respect and not discriminate on any protected basis.
  • Not charge any amount beyond the confirmed fare.

9. Cancellations by partners

You may cancel an accepted request before the trip starts. Repeated or last-minute cancellations negatively affect your trust score and may result in temporary suspension from the Platform. The app displays a cancellation rate threshold; stay below it to remain in good standing.

10. Ratings and trust score

Requesters rate you after every trip (1–5 stars). Your average trust score determines your visibility in match results and your eligibility to remain active. A score below 3.0 triggers a review; below 2.5 results in suspension pending appeal.

11. Parcel-specific terms

  • You must verify parcel contents match the description in the app before accepting.
  • You are not required to open parcels, but you may decline if contents appear suspicious.
  • RydoShare's prohibited-item screening flags known restricted items; if you knowingly carry prohibited items, this agreement terminates immediately.
  • You are not liable for parcel damage caused by the requester's packaging, but you must handle parcels with reasonable care.

12. Insurance

Vehicle partners are responsible for maintaining valid third-party motor insurance. RydoShare does not provide vehicle insurance. RydoShare provides limited accidental coverage for trips in progress; details are available in the app under Insurance.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. RydoShare may suspend or terminate your partner account immediately for: fraud, carrying prohibited items, harassment of requesters, consistently low ratings, or violations of applicable law. Any accrued wallet balance will be paid out within 7 business days of termination.

14. Amendments

We may update this agreement. Material changes will be notified in-app at least 14 days in advance. Continuing to accept requests after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
