Please read these terms carefully before using RydoShare. By accessing or using the app, you agree to be bound by them.
RydoShare operates a route-overlap marketplace ("Platform") that connects requesters (people seeking rides, parcel delivery or errands) with partners (people already travelling who carry requesters or parcels along their route). RydoShare is a technology platform — we are not a transport operator, logistics company, or employer of partners.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding contract in India. By using the Platform you represent that you meet these requirements. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information.
You must register with a valid Indian mobile number and complete OTP verification. You are responsible for all activity under your account and must keep your credentials secure. You may not create accounts for others or transfer your account.
RydoShare is a matching platform. We connect requesters and partners; we do not provide transport or delivery services ourselves. Partners are independent individuals, not employees or agents of RydoShare.
We are not responsible for the actions of partners or requesters, for items lost or damaged during a trip, or for delays caused by traffic, weather or other circumstances outside our control. We do not guarantee that a match will be found for any request.
When you publish a request you agree to pay the fare displayed at the time of confirmation. Fares are calculated based on distance and route overlap and are locked before you confirm. There is no surge pricing.
You may cancel a request before a partner accepts it at no charge. Cancellations after acceptance may incur a fee as displayed in the app at time of cancellation. Repeated cancellations may result in account restrictions.
Payment is processed through our payment partner (Razorpay). By adding a payment method you authorise us to charge the fare on confirmation. Refunds for cancelled or disputed trips are processed within 5–7 business days.
To publish routes and accept requests you must complete identity verification (Aadhaar and PAN), provide a valid vehicle (unless carrying parcels only), and maintain a trust score above our minimum threshold. We reserve the right to decline or revoke partner status.
Partners receive the agreed fare minus the RydoShare platform commission, paid to the in-app wallet upon trip completion. Wallet balances may be withdrawn to a registered bank account at any time subject to minimum withdrawal amounts. See the Partner Agreement for full commission details.
Both requesters and partners are rated after each trip. Ratings are visible to the other party before acceptance. Consistently low ratings may result in account suspension. We use automated fraud detection; accounts showing suspicious patterns may be restricted pending review.
The following are strictly prohibited on the Platform:
Harassment, discrimination, threats or any abusive behaviour toward other users or RydoShare staff is grounds for immediate, permanent account suspension.
RydoShare provides an in-app SOS feature that alerts your emergency contacts with your live location. By using the Platform you consent to your location being shared with matched partners/requesters and, in emergencies, with emergency services. You remain responsible for your own safety.
All software, designs, trademarks and content on the Platform are owned by RydoShare or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without our written consent.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP). By using the Platform you consent to that policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RydoShare's total liability arising out of or in connection with the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RydoShare and its officers, employees and affiliates from any claim, loss or expense (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of revised terms constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved through mutual discussion. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.
